Recruiter: National Railway Museum
Salary: £13,343 (plus £3,400 Additional Weekend Allowance pro rata for part-time positions)
Location: York
Description: The National Railway Museum is one of the countries leading museums receiving over 900,000 visitors a year and we want you to be part of our on-going success.
We are looking for out-going and engaging communicators to fill these stimulating roles. With your excellent communication and presentation skills, you will work in the museum halls, explaining the objects and working with all visitors, young and old. You will also deliver learning workshops, tours, demonstrations and storytelling, in an entertaining and engaging way. It will be your responsibility to ensure families, schools, groups and teachers, have an enjoyable, safe and educational visit.
You will be comfortable working with a range of audiences and able to provide advice and support to Special Educational Need groups, for which training will be provided. A basic understanding of science and engineering would be an advantage. So, if you have a passion for communication and for engaging adults and children of all ages, we’d love to hear from you.
Further Information
