On your marks... get set... GO! Explore the world of the fast and the glamorous at our Record Breakers event. Get up close to the full-size model of BLOODHOUND, the impressive Super Sonic Car (SSC) attempting to beat the World Land Speed Record by reaching 1000mph next year – that’s equivalent to over four football pitches every second! Meet the BLOODHOUND Ambassadors to learn more about this amazing vehicle and make your own speedy car.

Plus climb onboard some of our locomotives with free cab access and find out how our vehicles are built for speed and what makes them travel fast.

Just announced! We'll also have a Bloodhound simulator in the Museum – experience the thrill of travelling at 1,000mph! See how it works in this video.
