Description: Steam locomotive 0-6-0 No 141 with goods train shortly after leaving Stradbally Station in County Laois, Ireland. The photograph notes that near Stradbally is Ballyvoyle Viaduct. This had been rebuilt for the same reason as the road bridge near it which has the inscription 'Centre Arch destroyed 1922, Rebuilt 1923'. Nearby is a memorial to a man killed in action there in 1922. The memorial is set in a stone railway embankment.
