In January 2009 we launched a £250,000 campaign called Steam Our Scotsman, to get Flying Scotsman back on the tracks.
We have received a massive amount of public support. And thanks to a recent and very generous donation, we have now completed the appeal. We are very grateful to all those generous people who have supported the campaign. All those who have donated £10 or more have been recognised on our Wall of Fame.
Thank you for helping us get this much-loved, magnificent engine in steam and running again.
If you would like to support the National Railway Museum, please see our main website for details. Your gift will help us safeguard railway heritage now and for future generations. Every gift makes a difference, however large or small.
The National Railway Museum (as part of the National Museum of Science & Industry) is an exempt charity under the Second Schedule of the Charities Act (1960) and is recognised as charitable by Revenue & Customs. Our Revenue & Customs tax exemption number is XN63797A.
