What's On

Thank you to everyone who visited our Chinese Festival from 21 March-6 April. The festival was an overwhelming success with thousands of people of all ages enjoying everything from lion dancing and tea tasting to mask making and Tai-Chi. But don't worry if you missed it there are still plenty of events on including our fabulous exhibition of photographs by Michael Rhodes.

You can visit our brand new online photographic exhibition Railway on the Roof of the World, featuring the Lhasa Railway, an engineering feat of staggering proportions. Also book to hear the photographer, Charlie Stewart, talk about the Lhasa Railway at the National Railway Museum.

The festival was such a huge success that we will be running another festival in 2009 with an Indian theme. Keep an eye on our website www.nrm.org.uk for details.
