See the new display of the Royal Train of Queen Alexandra (wife of Edward VII) and take part in free Royal and Easter-themed family activities.
Plus enjoy further activities as part of our Easter programme including:
Make Your Own Crown & Tiara. Free family craft activity from 11.30am to 3.30pm daily from Monday 2 April to Thursday 5 April and from Tuesday 10 April to Friday 13 April. No need to book, just come along and take part.
Royal storytelling. Regular sessions throughout the school holidays – contact the museum on 01388 771439 for further details.
Access to the Royal Saloon. A very special opportunity to access the Royal Saloon led by a member of our curatorial team. Limited spaces are available and places must be pre-booked. Tickets priced £5 per person for a very exclusive viewing of the saloon interior. Available Tuesday 3 April and Tuesday 10 April, starting at 2pm.
Easter Egg Trail. Find the letters hidden around the Collection building and unscramble them to reveal a mystery word. Then enter our daily prize draw to win an Easter Egg. Easter Weekend - Friday 6 April to Monday 9 April.
Passenger steam train service. Our passenger steam train will run on Sunday 8 April and Monday 9 April.
