Join the Learning Team on Tuesday September 14 for a FREE talk on the record breaking locomotive 4468 Mallard, which holds the world’s speed record for steam traction by rail.

This magnificent locomotive is currently on display at the museum’s Collection Building. During the talk, you’ll learn more about the record breaking journey, and also have the opportunity to access the cab.

There are sessions at 11am and 2pm on Tuesday September 14, and it’s free to join in. However, places are limited so you’ll need to pre-book – for more information, please call the museum on 01388 771439.
