All events other than our miniature railway are free - check on your daily diary when you arrive for changes to the programme and or changes in location/times. Our Road Train will also be running to and from York Minster for a fun easy way to find us.

Punch and Judy's Railway Adventure

Station Hall, Platform 6 | 11:15am, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, and 3:15pm

Adventure takes an exciting trip to the seaside with two very special guests. Suitable for under-6s and their families.

Turntable Demonstration

Great Hall | several times a day, check your daily diary on arrival

Its one of our main features in our Great Hall: learn what it is and how its used in this demonstration by our Explainer team.

Miniature Railway

South Yard | £2.50 or £8 for a family

Everyone loves going on our new miniature railway ride. Please remember to bring your coat if the weather turns inclement.

How a Steam Locomotive Works

Find out the principles of what makes steam traction work in this talk about our Explainers in front of our cut-away engine Ellerman Lines.

Cab and Carriage access
