Steam rides

Take a steam ride* on a Harwich-Hook locomotive (a charge applies). 10:30-13:00 & 13:30-16:00, South Yard

Spooner's Boat

See the replica of Spooner's Boat – a unique wind-powered carriage, see this video – on display in the Great Hall. All day, next to Lode Star

Make a windmill

Create your very own Dutch-style windmill and discover how to make a train move with wind. 11:00-16:00, under Percy Main Bridge in Great Hall

Easter Railway Trail

Collect clues, discover the Museum and win some delicious chocolate. (2 - 18 Apr, but chocolate available to first 250 families from 2 - 5 April only. 1 trail card per family. Chocolate kindly donated by Nestlé.)
